My Story

I grew up in Prenzlauer Berg, at a time when clothing still meant something. My mother dressed beautifully every Sunday, not for a special occasion, but because life was worth it.

That conviction has never left me.

In my fifties, I realized that fashion was passing women like me by. Everything seemed designed for twenty-year-olds, or for women who had given up on themselves. I wanted something in between. Elegant without looking old-fashioned. Confident without standing out.

So I founded Elsa Berlin.

My Philosophy

I believe style has no age, but it does have depth. Elsa Berlin is built around pieces that don’t shout, but speak. Clothing to wear day after day, that goes with you and stays with you. I personally selected every piece in my collection, with an eye for the fabric, fit, and how it makes you feel.
